Thanksgiving Party 2000

The year 2000's Thanksgiving party was more fun than I could have imagined! There were fourteen people all told, including two Robs and two Mikes! Not only did Alan, the missing FOM member, show up, but we also had Rob Hackimer (now "Hack") and Talia's boyfriend, Nate, who also happens to be a friend of mine from college. Worlds Colliding, I tell you! OK, names. Back(ish) row is Nate, Hack, Peter, Richie, Nat, Mike, Whitney, Dani, and Rob. Front(ish) row is Mike, Talia, Aaron, Lynne (me), and Alan, who is now a Doctor!

The day before the party, some of us went out with Ilya, and since he couldn't make it to the party, we made sure to get a group shot with him, too.
Every year, we have some kind of food linked with this party. This year, it was fondue. Thanks to Aaron for the three fondue pots! Our first course was 2 cheese fondues and one broth fondue for cooking Meat! Here's a picture of what can happen when cheese fondue gets a bit too messy.
We also had a course of chocolate fondue. It was so good!! Of course, it got messy, too. Here, Talia and Nate sample impromptu smores.

This year, we also got some pictures of our game playing! Below are some pictures of our Taboo game.

And below are some pictures from our game of Celebrity! (I have no idea what Talia or Alan were doing here, but they looked so, um, similar.)

Of course, we had group photos again. Here are the guys.
And here are the girls, uh, except that Aaron's head is in the picture. Well, he does have really long hair :)
Nat, who is our happy bride-to-be, looked so cute all day long! Here's one of her at the table.

We had some couples at the party again this year. And this time, Dani and Rob took a picture! Below are them, and also Whitney and Mike. (Not sure how Nat got into that one!)

Below are Talia and Nate, along with the usual "couple" pic of Whitney and Natalya.

You may have noticed my dad in the background of some of the pictures. Here he is with Alan and Nat, the doctor and the almost doctor!
My parents took some non-digital pictures, so if any of them come out I might add them here later :) Let's hope it's as great next year!
